Stats for 2013 Lambing

Stats for 2013
19 ewes bred to 5 rams
No Open Ewes
Total lambs on the ground = 48
Average weight per lamb born = 4.59 kgs / 10.12 lbs

Singles - 4
Twins - 6
Triplets - 8
Quads - 2
NOTE: This number of triplets & quads is an anomolie for us. We do not breed for this prolificacy. I prefer to have our ewes lamb/raise fast growing twins!

Assisted with 1 set of quads (68X)
Assisted with two sets of triplets (38U & 39U)
Assisted with 1 set of twins (110M)

Lamb Loss = 3 (all ram lambs)
 (two full term DOA from a set of triplets & 1 left unattended after first two were born)

Bottle lambs = 2 (Both from sets of triplets)
(One was born & got under a feeder, and mom left it to birth the other two. Wouldn't take the first one when I found it.)
(Second one seemed to be a bit behind it's two siblings in development. Couldn't stand to nurse for about 30 hours, so just stripped her off after she had three colostrum feedings)

Ram Lambs = 23
Ewe Lambs = 25

Ram Stats:
Trooper = 2 twins / 3 triplets
Eli =  2 twins / 3 triplets / 1 quad
Chief = 1 single /1 twin / 2 triplets
Jackson = 1 single / 1 twin / 1 quad
Mane Attraction = 2 singles
