Getting Help Cleaning the Barn

We have stored our large square bales (4x4x8) in the barn, and filled feeders from there. There gets to be a lot of leaf on the floor once the bales are gone. Not wanting to waste it, I put up barricades to protect the grain and new bales and let the ewes loose. It's always interesting to watch what happens.
Most of them went to work cleaning up the floor
One immediately saw the NEW bales, I thought I had cleverly covered
Being a smart ewe, she takes some time to think about her next move
She checks the loose ends of the twine to see if any release the barricade...smart girl!
Then there is the one that can't get through the gate......even though there is an opening at the end of the panel...not so smart!
